END OF SCHOOL PRESENTATION – SATURDAY MAY 22nd 9:00 a.m.

Well, the school year has come to an end. Tomorrow is the last day of classes. It took everyone some time to get used to distance learning, but we at St. Casimir Lithuanian School were quite successful, in great part, thanks to the loyalty of parents and students and the dedication of our teachers.

Your children should be proud of themselves for keeping up with their Lithuanian studies. Now they can advance to the next grade in the Fall, when we all meet in person at parapija. If there is a question about their progress, please address it to the teacher.

If your child was using textbooks on loan from the school, please be sure to return them on either Sunday, May 16th or 23rd , 9:00-12:00 at the parish. Laima Gajauskiene will be collecting books on those days. You might like to attend Mass on those days: May 16 at 11:00 and May 23 at 10:00.

THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL AND OUR FAREWELL WILL TAKE PLACE NEXT SATURDAY, MAY 22 AT 9:00 A.M. FOR ALL CLASSES. EACH CLASS HAS PREPARED A UNIQUE GOOD-BYE. ALL STUDENTS MUST ATTEND AND,OF COURSE, WE ARE EXPECTING PARENTS AND GUESTS AS WELL. THE ZOOM LINK WILL BE SENT TO FAMILIES THIS WEEK.

A FILM ABOUT THE HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL WILL ALSO BE SHOWN AT THAT TIME. IT WAS CREATED IN HONOR OF THE SCHOOL’S 70th ANNIVERSARY, BUT DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS, WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SHOW IT AS PLANNED. I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THE FILM WILL BE OF INTEREST TO EVERYONE. SUBTITLES ARE IN ENGLISH.

Waiting to see everyone on the 22nd, I remain                                                      Yours truly,                                                                                                                            p. Maryte
